Lawn Irrigation

If you are interested in installing an irrigation system for your lawn, you are required to install a 1” meter and setter to serve the existing residence and the irrigation system. The Clay Center Public Utilities Commission will install the meter and setter. There is no labor charge for the installation. The cost to replace your existing water service with a 1” service is $850. The monthly minimum fee for the 1” service will also increase $10.00 per month.
